Vicki Aitken writes a monthly article on golf psychology for the "New Zealand Golf Magazine". She also writes a column in the bi-monthly "New Zealand Multisport and Triathlete"magazine.

Vicki Aitken along with her co-author Dr. Dan Weigand published their book "CADDY-TALK:The Psychology of Being a Great Golf Caddy"in May 2007. Aimed at the everyday golfer as well as the budding caddy this book contains interviews with some of the world's best caddies including Steve Willaims [caddy to Tiger Wood's] and Mike Patterson [caddy to Karrie Webb].

Vicki Aitken has the core findings of her Masters thesis research published. This was presented to the 3rd World Scientific Congress of Golf at St. Andrews, Scotland in 1998. Match play and stroke play myths: Do elite amateur golfers play the course or the person? In The Proceedings of the World Scientific Congress of Golf III, edited by Cochran.
