EXPERIENCE
What sets Vicki apart from most Sport Psychology Consultants who specialise
in golf, is that she has played as well as worked at elite levels.
Not only has she worked with over 35 players on the Ladies European
Tour for the last 4 years but she has also played competitive
amateur golf having represented her provinces back home in New
Zealand as both a junior and senior golfer. She UNDERSTANDS the
sport thoroughly, from both a player's and sport psychology consultant's
perspective. She also understands the differences in demands facing
golfers at club level, elite amateur and professional tour level
golf.
Vicki has a:
• Vicki is The Official Sport Psychology Consultant to the Ladies European Tour.
•Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology (University of Auckland)
•Post Graduate Diploma in sport psychology (University of Otago)
•Masters of Physical Education degree in sport psychology (University
of Otago).
• Vicki has been involved with golf for over 16 years
• Has played at the competitive amateur level
• Has been working as a sport psychology consultant for over 8 years
• Has conducted research in the field of golf psychology
• Member of the New Zealand Sport Psychology Association
• Member of the British Association of Sport & Exercise Sciences.
• BASES accredited Sport and Exercise Scientist in psychology (scientific support until Sept 2009).
• Vicki has worked individually with over 35 players on the LET
as well as professionals on the Challenge Tour, Euro Pro Tour,
Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tour, the US LPGA, US Futures
Tour as well as many elite through to club level amateurs in NZ,
UK and Switzerland.
Whilst Vicki's expertise lies in Golf she has also worked successfully
with other sports such as tennis, snowboarding, and car racing.
